Perfect mountain retreat. Peaceful and quiet; far enough away from the traffic on 70 and the clamor of the ski resorts, yet close enough to still make use of those amenities if you desire. Spent several days reading, going on hikes, and making use of the hot tub while star gazing at night. Dale was a great host.

Spent a romantic weekend here celebrating my husband’s birthday. Outstanding. Peaceful oasis with hot tub and views to die for. Felt private but also at ease knowing the owner, Dale, was available for anything we needed. We had fun splitting logs and keeping a fire going in the chiminea at night. Cozy blankets and robes and lots of attention to detail. All the modern amenities you want alongside the peaceful existence of being surrounded by nature. Don’t skip the cinnamon rolls! They are out of this world. Bonus-super dog friendly!!! Doggie door with kennel-so cool.

We had an absolutely amazing stay at The BigFoot camper. It has very special touches inside and have a very welcoming environment. The view was absolutely incredible, and all the amenities around the camper from the grill to the fireplace to the fridge made for a great experience. The kitchen was fully stocked with everything you could want such as dishes, pots/pans, silverware, cooking utensils and even cooking spray along with salt and pepper. Also, the amenities at the lodge (just a short half mile drive from the camper) from the hot tub to the deck and TV made the experience even better. The shower was right by the lodge and there were towels provided in the camper. Dale was incredibly welcoming in showing us around the place as well as hooking us up with discounted passes to the Hot Springs and fresh eggs also! We had an amazing stay here and would highly recommend for anybody wanting to enjoy a gorgeous view while staying in a very unique and welcoming space.

Perfect home base for a week of gravel riding amongst the beautiful mountains and valleys of the region. Dale was a wonderful host. The scenery from the cabin is amazing. The place was super clean, the drinking water quality was great (I usually filter most places I stay, but no need to here), ice maker in the freezer to prepare cold water bottles for rides on warm days, and good water pressure for relaxing showers after long days in the saddle. We rode both from the cabin and from locations in the area. Photo shared is the view from our deck.

The best Air BnB I have ever stayed at. We stayed in Byers Peak and everything about it was amazing. From the crystal clear hot tub to the amazing views. The bed was comfy and its fully stocked with literally everything. The owners are amazing and allow you to also enjoy walking the 80 acres they own. It is about 30-45 minutes from most everything and its dirt/stone road is the only drawback if you are coming and going frequently. Dont hesitate to book it!

The lodging was perfect! The view's couldn't be better. We went up with the idea that it was going to be just another camping trip and were delightfully surprised. The patio was huge and already had a grill to make food. We woke up in the morning and there were deer waiting outside. The trees had already started to turn so we could see how perfect the view was. I can't wait to go back and see how it looks when the snow falls. Dale was the sweetest person and was more than helpful at every turn. Thank you!!

This is hands down the best getaway spot we’ve ever had! My partner and I were looking for a secluded mountain home with amazing views and a hot tub to relax and celebrate our anniversary. We stayed in the Byer’s Peak and it exceeded our expectations. The bed was so extremely comfortable, it had every amenity we could need, and you just can’t beat the view!! Dale is so kind, communicative, and speedy with responses! We got homemade cinnamon rolls and fresh eggs and they were the best we’ve ever had. We will definitely come back in a summer month to see the wildflowers and enjoy this hidden gem in a different light. Thank you Dale, for a perfect weekend.
